Top 100 Restaurants in Seoul: A Culinary Journey in 2024 Taste of Seoul

In the light of upcoming 2024 Taste of Seoul week from November 8 to November 14, Seoul Metropolitan Government has released a list of 100 restaurants and bars to visit in the city. 

The city government has been actively publishing a list of top 100 restaurants in the city since 2000. This year, the list includes 21 Korean food restaurants (hansik), 10 vegetarian restaurants, 23 Western restaurants, 11 grill and barbecue, 14 Asian restaurants, 10 cafes and dessert places, and 11 pubs and bars.

You will see several restaurants in the list owned by celebrity chefs featured on Netflix’s “Culinary Class Wars“. These include Choi Hyun-seok’s Italian fine dining restaurant, Choi Dot, Ye Kyong-rae’s upscale Chinese restaurant, Hongbogak, Hwang Jin-seon’s Chinese restaurant, Jin Jin, and the Michelin-starred Yun Seoul by chef Kim Do-yun. Additionally, the list features renowned restaurants like Mingles, KwonSooksoo, Onjium, and Solbam.
