Spring Time Rail Bike Trips in Korea
Jeongseon Rail Bike – Jeongseon Highland County (Gangwon Province)
Breathe in the fresh mountain air and marvel at the majestic peaks as you cycle along the Jeongseon Rail Bike route. It is South Korea’s first rail bike site and it is 7.2 kilometers long in a round trip. You travel from Gujeol Station to Auraji Station and then back. It might be tiring to pedal this distance, but this scenic journey is perfect for capturing postcard-worthy moments. You can check out the tranquil Jeongseon village and its surrounding beauty.
All in all, the round trip course takes 90 minutes, and it includes the train ride back to the initial point. The rentals are priced at 30,000 won and 40,000 won for groups of two and four respectively.
Seomjingang Rail Bike – Seomjingang Train Village (South Jeolla Province)
Imagine cruising along the tracks, feeling the refreshing breeze from the nearby Seomjingang River as you take in the beautiful scenery.
