Unlike what you would expect from a traditional Korean restaurant, this one does have options for vegetarians.

There are six types of hanjeongsik options available here – but, each one has boribap.

Seokparang (석파랑), Seoul

Seokparang isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a time machine. Nestled in Seoul, this unique Hanok restaurant transports you to the Joseon Dynasty.

Originally part of a royal complex, Seokparang’s architecture evokes the “Villa of Daewongun,” offering a glimpse into aristocratic life. You can experience the culinary traditions of the era. Seokparang meticulously recreates royal recipes, using only the finest ingredients.

Hanchaedang (한채당), Gyeonggi-do

It is a romantic restaurant where you can try Hanjeongsik with a more contemporary vibe. The restaurant is modern while keeping up with the traditional design philosophy and elements.

So, if you are a couple visiting this restaurant, you won’t have to fight over who decides the food as the restaurant offers an expansive selection of dishes to choose from – all of which are traditional.

The Dam (더담), Seoul

It is a modern fusion restaurant that serves Hanjeongsik (한정식). What’s special about this restaurant is all the meals are prepped with a modern twist. It may seem pricey but compared to the quality and taste of food, the price is quite affordable.
