The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) has announced that Seoul Fashion Week 2025 will be held for five days, from Wednesday, February 5th to Sunday, February 9th. This year’s fashion show will feature the latest fall and winter trends in Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) and other trendy areas like Seongsu, Cheongdam, and Hannam. Seoul Fashion Week, Korea’s biggest fashion event, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year!

Korea’s largest fashion industry event, the Seoul Fashion Week is 25 years old this year. It started in the year 2000 as a platform for Korean fashion designers to showcase their best Seoul Collection. And now, the Seoul Collection is most distinctive among the industry with the rapid growth of Korean fashion industry. Over the years, it has become a global platform for Korean designers and fashion brands to reach global audiences. It is a platform to showcase the influence of Korean fashion overseas.
A New Fashion Forum Event
Debuting this year, the Fashion Forum event at Seoul Fashion Week will bring top Korean fashion industry players together to boost the global reach of Korean fashion brands and designers. The forum will be full of opportunities for industry collaboration and sharing of best practices, all aimed at driving the growth of the fashion industry.
The event will feature an opening show by the renowned brand HANNAH SHIN. There will be 19 brand fashion shows, 8 presentations, and a trade show showcasing 130 brands with over 300 domestic and international buyers. It’s going to be a fashion extravaganza!
So, if you are buyer interested in participating in the trade show, you can register on the website before February 3.
The Selects
The Selects is also a new addition to the fashion week. It is a global fashion showroom by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA). This program is dedicated to promote Korean fashion designers on an international level. It will essentially support their global expansion efforts and facilitate business growth.

This year’s fashion week is bringing you a ticket giveaway that’ll give you the chance to experience 16 brand fashion shows (excluding off-shows) right here at DDP. There will be 350 tickets available, so don’t miss out!
