Seoul Spring Festa is like a big makeover for the old Seoul Festa. This year, they’re making Seoul a ‘Fun City’ by adding lots of festivals and events all year round.

When and where is Seoul Spring Festa 2025?
The week-long cultural fest will start from April 30 and continue until May 6. There will be events at different locations across Seoul, including Gwanghwamun Square, Seoul Plaza, and near Deoksu Palace.

Event details
The opening ceremony is a going to be a multimedia showcase. There will be a mind-blowing mix of K-pop performances, dazzling dance moves, mesmerizing laser displays, and an awe-inspiring drone show.
Along with the opening ceremony, event goers can also participate in a large-scale nighttime running event on May 3. This event is titled Seoul Road Show and its bookings will open in mid-April. The run will start at Seoul Plaza, cross through Gwanghwamun Square, Gyeongbok Palace and Cheong Wa Dae, the former presidential office. Thanks to this events, you can experience the city in nighttime before ending with a concert.
Artists lineup at Seoul Spring Festa
The first lineup of artists performing in the event include NCT Wish, The Boyz and n.SSign. According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government, these artists will perform at the opening ceremony, Wonder Show, of the event. The event is scheduled to start on April 30, 2025 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
Festival Programs in ‘Seoul Plaza’
Seoul Plaza, a must-see landmark in Seoul, is famous for its green space in the city center near Seoul City Hall and for hosting special events daily. During Seoul Spring Festa, you’ll find unique programs themed around the festival, as well as cultural and art performances and K-content showcases every day. This place will transform into a totally different space between day and night!

Festival Programs in ‘Deoksugung-gil’
You can take a stroll along the stone wall street next to the ancient palace of Deoksogung to experience a different side of Seoul. It’s a must-visit date spot for young couples. During the festival, it transforms into a vibrant hub of fashion and entertainment.

Festival Programs in Other Areas of Seoul
Seoul Spring Festa is a huge celebration that happens every year and this time, it’s during the most beautiful time of year. There are tons of fun events happening all over Seoul, from historic palaces to bustling Myeongdong, the city’s favorite tourist spot. There are events around the Hangang River, Seoul’s design district, DDP, and Daehangno. Each day of the festival has a different schedule, so make sure to check out the confirmed schedules here!
Tickets
After the presale, general ticket sales will kick off at noon on April 4th on the event website. The pre-sale was closed within 1-2 minutes after opening.
Only 3,000 tickets will be available, so grab yours early if you want to attend the Seoul Spring Festa!
If you don’t get your hands on the tickets, you can watch the livestream via KBS’ YouTube channel. This move comes by the city after experiencing the interest from international visitors. The city says that about a 46 percent of presale tickets were bought by people from other countries! Audiences across the world can tune in the event from wherever they are. The show will be broadcast in 137 countries through KBS World after the opening ceremony.
