What, Why, and How To of Matcha?

Matcha is a fine powder of specially grown and processed green tea. It is packed full of antioxidants and is rich in chlorophyll, fiber, and vitamins. Match can boost metabolism, burn calories, and detoxify naturally and effectively. It can also calm and relax the mind. The caffeine content in matcha is less than in coffee, but it gives longer-lasting energy.

About Matcha in Korea

Korea has an incredible history of tea dating all the way back to Tang Dynasty China. Back then, tea was mainly used as a medicinal herb. Matcha on the other hand was used for ceremonial drinks and spirit offerings.

Over time, tea cultivation in South Korea has flourished and the country is now one of the main producers of green tea.
