Yeonnam 223 Café
Yeonnam 223 Cafe is unquestionably one of the most well-known cafés in Hongdae. As the cafe is a work of art, it makes an excellent backdrop for your Instagram photographs. You get the sense that you’ve stumbled into a depiction of an artist’s thoughts. It appears to be a Korean webtoon coming to life. The concept for this coffee shop came from the Korean drama W: Two Worlds, which is the brainchild of J.S. Lee. If you have to go to only one coffee shop when you visit Korea, make it this one.
Arari Ovene

Our top pick is the strawberry milk tea, prepared in a pink coffee cup and topped with sliced strawberries.

This hot spot is strangely thrilling, yet in a good way. There’s a place to buy house-made bagels and smears that are amazing. Get your bagels, smears, and coffees and go downstairs to the cave-like greenery corridors or climb the white-walled rooms. It features a roof terrace with sweeping views of the city. The structure is magnificent, if a little odd, and it’s just fantastic, not to mention one of the most incredible cafes in Hongdae to get a good bagel and topping.

Colline is a favorite cafe for many people who frequent Hongdae. When you’re going in or out of Hongdae, Colline is always somewhere you pass by. Beautiful building on busy parking street near Hapjeong Sangsu end. Flowers are strewn about on the ground, in the windows, and throughout the house.
