Gwangalli is one of the most loved destinations in Busan because of its fine powdery sandy beach that offers exotic views. However, there is a wave of enjoyment that extends beyond the beach. Gwangalli beach boasts of great food and is home to a number of renowned eateries. Today we will introduce you to 5 must-visit cafes to consider during your visit to Gwangalli beach.

The Same Age Couple

The Same Age Couple is one of the top-rated cafes near Gwangalli beach and has a cute and pretty setting. There is adequate room between the seating arrangements, and the entire area is clean and airy.

The quality of the food is high, and the presentation is aesthetic. For instance, the café beverage, which comes with a character-shaped meringue biscuit on top, is delightful both artistically and literally. On the menu, there are several items, including varieties of rice cakes and flavored lattes, all of which are delectable.

The cafe is conveniently close to Gwangalli beach, making it the perfect place to unwind after enjoying a swim in the ocean.

The prices are also affordable when compared to other cafes in the area.

Byul Bed

Byul Bed is another one of the most popular cafes near Gwangalli beach with rave reviews. It is actually a part of the hotel Byul Bed, which also has a self-serve bar. The biggest plus of this space is enjoying some stunning ocean views from inside the cafe. However, we recommend going to the second floor for the best views.

If you are not spending the night at the hotel, you need to purchase a ticket of 11,800 KRW for the cafe. It comes with limitless access to the bar. The service is free to use for hotel guests.

Tea, coffee, juice, milk, cereal, toast, fresh fruits, and even small desserts are available for the fixed rate you are paying. You can even mix and match to create your drinks. However, if you want beer and ramen, you have to pay an additional amount.

Byul Bed also does not have a time restriction, so it is a great cafe to spend some quality time with your close ones, especially if you are not on a strict schedule.

Cup & Cup

With great views of the iconic Gwangan Bridge, Cup & Cup attracts a lot of tourists every year. The seats beside the window that overlooks the bridge are always in high demand, so you most likely won’t get them free.

But worry not; there are many other spaces for breathtaking views. Like the rooftop, then the gallery-style area on the 5th level is also great.

A captivating aroma permeates the cafe’s interior, which is tastefully designed in cream and white shades.

The Vienna coffee is the signature dish of Cup & Cup, but we also encourage you to sample the equally wonderful and reviving Yuzu Peach Tea and Passionfruit Ade. The Lemon Madeleine cake is also good – not too sour but soft and spongy.

Cafe Haute

Another cafe with great views of the ocean is Cafe Haute. It comprises of three floors. The seating arrangements in this cafe are very comfortable, while the topmost floor is all airy and open.

This cafe’s menu is very diverse, with different flavored coffee, tea, shortcakes, lattes, tarts, drinks, and many more, all of which taste really good.

However, parking is limited and even costs money per hour, so if you want to escape the hassle, use public transportation to go to the location or park your vehicle somewhere far and walk to the café.

Coffee Smith, Gwangalli Guess Who

If you are looking for a modern-style cafe with scenic views of Gwangalli beach, then this cafe is for you. It is considered a perfect spot for a coffee date because the ambiance is extremely good. The seating space is large; however, you must arrive early if you want to sit by the window.

Apart from enjoying coffee, late, and drinks, we recommend you try the Gorgonzola steak, bagel sandwich, waffles, cakes, and pizza because these are equally delicious.

There is also a big parking lot at the back that is free of cost for 1.5 hours.

Happy munching!
