After years of anticipation, Pinocchio e Da Vinci Italia Village has finally opened in Gapyeong, quickly becoming one of the area’s most popular tourist destinations. Not only is this place picturesque, but it’s also close to Petite France’s French Village! So if you want to spend a day in two villages instead of one, you can easily visit both. The structure creates an authentic Italia atmosphere that makes visitors feel at home.

Bus
To get to Goseong-ri from Dong Seoul Bus Terminal or Sangbong Bus Terminal, take a bus headed for Cheongpyeong Bus Terminal and then transfer to a city bus that goes to Goseong-ri.
Subway
Take the “Gapyeong Tourist Circulation Bus” from Cheongpyeong Station/Gapyeong Station (Gyeongchun Line).
Attractions at the Pinocchio and Da Vinci Italia village
The only Italian theme park in Korea that collaborates with the Collodi Foundation to make “The Adventures of Pinocchio” by Carlo Collodi a reality is Pinocchio and Da Vinci Italia Village. This is also a site where Leonardo da Vinci’s works are celebrated; he was a remarkable painter, inventor, engineer, scientist, sculptor, and architect.
The motto of this beautiful park is “Discover new dimensions of your child’s world.” This enormous theme park has more than 30,000 square meters of a developed area adjacent to Petite France. Even though Pinocchio and Da Vinci Italia Village debuted in 2021, it has quickly become popular and seen on JTBC programs!
When you get to Petite France, look for a sign informing you that the sale and ticketing area has been relocated to the vicinity of car park number 1. After heading towards car park number 1, there is a set of stairs leading up. These steps lead to the ticket office.

This is a statue of Pinocchio, the main character from the Italia Village of Da Vinci. He’s an impressive 10.8 meters tall! You can also look out over Lake Cheongpyteobng from above when you visit here, and you may enjoy the lovely nature of Gapyeong. The tiny homes with tiled roofs immersed themselves in the exquisite environment of Gapyeong, which we will never forget!
Geppetto Alley
There are beautifully yellow and orange buildings in this alley named after Geppeto, the creator of Pinocchio. Pinocchio e Da Vinci Italia Village offers some of the best photo opportunities.
Pinocchio e Da Vinci Italia Village has several performances. Furthermore, there are several antique shops. As you enter this road, a map and timetable of shows in Pinocchio e Da Vinci Italia Village may be found. There are also several antique shops here. It’s like walking into an exhibition as you walk down this alley and turn into each room.
Negozio di Maschere

Piazza Da Vinci is a great place to take pictures, especially with the Geppetto Gift Shop and cute staircase on your left. Geppetto is also the only souvenir shop in the area, so it’s worth checking out!

Follow the pink directions on the road until you find the entrance to Pinocchio’s Adventure Hall. It is located on the third floor.
By visiting this site, you will be transported back to your childhood days as you admire the story of Pinocchio through statues, models, and paintings. You’ll love exploring the scenery while also enjoying the architecture of this building, designed with a seamless structure in mind.
Pinocchio Observatory
The Pinocchio Observatory is located on the 4th floor in the same building as Pinocchio’s adventure Hall. You can see overlooking the beautiful Cheongpyeong Lake with Petite France below.
Da Vinci Exhibition Hall
At Piazza Da Vinci, follow the blue arrow down to the B1 and B2 floors, and you’ll arrive at the Da Vinci Gallery. A replica of a Da Vincian painting is on display here, along with one of his most famous airplane models. You may sense this great man’s artistic creativity.
Outdoor Amphitheater
This is Pinocchio and Da Vinci’s Italia Village’s magnificent open-air theater. The Terrace of the Wind may be seen above the corridor on the second floor.

Chev’nour a’ Vinci
This European food stall serves dishes like pane, poutine, steak, and hotdogs. The food here is reasonably priced, with dinner portions ranging from 12,000 to 25,000 KRW.
Amore
This is a cafe that offers pizza, pasta, and coffee. A slice of pizza costs approximately 21,000 KRW, while a plate of pasta starts at 14,000 KRW. There are many different beverage options on the menu, including champagne cocktails for around 4,000 KRW.
Zephyr Coffee
This cafe is a great spot to get your caffeine fix before heading into Petite France. Under 3,000 KRW, they offer a wide selection of teas and coffees. Their signature dish is the pidong – pizza + hotdog combos that will only set you back 3,000 KRW.

- Pets are not allowed in Pinocchio e Da Vinci.
