The real shooting location of Doldam Hospital in all 3 seasons of “Dr Romantic” takes place in a building near Sanjeong Lake in Pocheon City.

Compared to other Korean drama filming sites, Doldam Hospital may seem less popular. However, those who have visited Doldam Hospital shooting location of “Dr Romantic” 3 didn’t come simply for the scenery. Instead, they came for the grand value and memories the hospital upholds.

Before all the 3 seasons of “Dr Romantic” used the place as a shooting location, this place was a famous hotel in Pocheon City. The locals used to call it Lake Sanjeong Family Hotel (산정호수 가족호텔).

Unfortunately, the hotel closed down in 2012. Since then, the place was supposed to undergo a renovation to become a potential cable car station for the whole area of Sanjeong Lake.

But since the place rose in reputation after “Dr Romantic” used it as a real shooting location for all 3 seasons, this building suddenly changed its name into “Dr Romantic Filming Location” in Naver Maps.

What’s more interesting, Google Maps even listed the building as “Doldam Hospital”, considering many travelers who have visited the place were mostly fans of “Dr Romantic”.

Unfortunately, although the place is now famous as “Dr Romantic” 3 Doldam Hospital location, it’s not a real hospital. So, visitors can only walk around outside and forbidden to enter the building.

Approximately 100 meters (328 ft.) from Doldam Hospital real shooting location for “Dr Romantic” 3, you can see a 3.2km (2 miles) trail that gets you around the Lake’s perimeters.

In this lake, you can enjoy a 30-minute duck boat ride in the summer. And when the lake gets frozen during winter, you can slide through its frozen surface in 1-hour ice skating activity. All at affordable prices.
