Haewoljeong Pavilion on Dalmaji Street

Dalmaji-gil is a beautiful pathway that leads uphill from Haeundae Beach. In the summer, it’s surrounded by lush greenery and tall trees that provide shade as you walk. The route is particularly picturesque during cherry blossom season, and the pathway is blanketed with pink.

The route to the top is ideal for walking and offers stunning scenic views, especially at night. A must-see spot is the Haewoljeong Pavilion, which is halfway along the road. Here, you can witness an amazing moonrise, considered one of the top seven-night views in Haeundae. The sight of the moon shining above Haeundae Beach‘s white sand and blue water from Haewoljeong is so vivid it almost feels like you could reach out and touch it.

If you’re walking along Dalmaji-gil, check out Haewoljeong Pavilion. You can snap photos with the moon sculpture or relax in the shade while enjoying the stunning view from the hill. The view from the pavilion is absolutely worth the visit.

Busan Air Cruise Skypark

There are several attractions in Songdo, Busan, such as Busan Air Cruise, Skypark, Amnam Park, cable cars, and the beach. You can walk directly or take the cable car from Songdo Beach to reach Skypark. The Songdo Base Station in Amnam Park includes a sky park crafted to blend in with the surrounding forest. Kids will enjoy the numerous sculptures found here. Skypark attracts visitors with its stunning moon sculpture and charming yellow snail garden.

In addition, the main building features an Ocean View Terrace and Sky Harbor Observatory located on the 2nd and 3rd floors. These photo spots offer the perfect backdrop for the vast ocean and moon watching in Busan. And don’t forget to check out the moon sculpture on the observatory’s third floor, where you can take photos with various poses to capture the moment.

There are several photogenic spots, including The Little Prince. Additionally, we recommend checking out the Songdo Yonggung Suspension Bridge for a nice walk. While you’re there, you can enjoy the view of the sea below you and the intriguing anchoring basin in the distance.

Dadaepo Beach

Taking photos while walking along the sea at Dadaepo Beach is great. For a pleasant walk to enjoy views of both the sea and reeds, check out Gowooni Ecological Trail.

In Dadaepo, a sculpture of the moon looks beautiful both during the day and at night when its lights shine bright like moonlight. It’s a great spot to take pictures, so don’t forget to visit it during the day. Additionally, there are many other picturesque locations, so take your time strolling and enjoying the sunset while capturing some great shots.

Urban Forest in Uam-dong

The Urban Forest in Uam-dong provides a stunning view of the Yeongdo Sea and Busan Harbor Bridge. It is often called the ” La Land of Busan” due to its magnificent sunsets and night views.

Although the park is small, the burgeoning forest provides a rejuvenating ambiance for moon watching in Busan. At the top of the hill lies a sought-after sculpture of a full moon, perfect for photos. You can also see the Busan Harbor Bridge and Bongnaesan Mountain in the background. This spot is a perfect setting for taking stunning photos against the backdrop of breathtaking scenery.

In Uam-dong’s Urban Forest, there is a scenic wooden walkway through a lush forest. Follow the path to an observatory at the end of a narrow alley, a popular photography spot. From here, you can see the Statue of Jesus at Donghang Cathedral and the Busan Port and Busan Harbor Bridge. Don’t miss this opportunity to capture beautiful memories with the forest’s surprises during the day and at night.

Conclusion

To sum up, Busan is a wonderful destination for observing the moon, and these four spots provide exceptional viewpoints across the city. If you prefer a busy beach or a quiet park, you’ll find something appealing in Busan. Prepare your bags, bring your camera, and be ready for a breathtaking moon-watching experience in one of South Korea’s most stunning cities.
