Korean event tech startup EventUs has made a global debut at the SG-KR MICE Tourism Networking Dinner in Singapore. This event showcased EventUs’ event management solutions and became a cultural bridge between the Korean and Singaporean event landscapes.
At the DuoTower Spectrum in Singapore, EventUs played host to 40 distinguished professionals from Singapore’s Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) and the tourism industry. This gathering, including representatives from the Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers (SACEOS), demonstrated EventUs’ prowess in event tech and initiated a cross-cultural dialogue.
EventUs wowed attendees with its user-friendly interface and engaging features like quizzes and prize drawings, creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for all participants. The event served as a platform for cultural exchange, where Korean and Singaporean event professionals came together to explore synergies and possibilities in the global event landscape.
Additionally, EventUs signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a local partner in Singapore during the event. This strategic partnership aims to bring EventUs’ innovative event management services to the Singaporean market, strengthening collaboration and cultural exchange in the MICE industry.
Ahn Young-hak, CEO of EventUs, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Singapore is renowned for hosting numerous global business events in Asia. Hence, it was our logical choice for our first foray into expanding within the Asian market, which is 72 times larger than Korea. We are committed to enhancing our global services, providing tailored solutions for Singapore and global events hosted in Korea.”
EventUs, with its comprehensive event management platform, has successfully facilitated over 14,000 events in the past year. These events have ranged from government ministries, local authorities, and major corporations to startups, attracting over 490,000 participants.
As EventUs introduces paid event services tailored for local customer events in Singapore, starting in November, it continues to weave a cultural tapestry in the MICE industry, bringing the best of Korean event tech to Singapore and beyond. The SG-KR MICE Tourism Networking Dinner is not just a debut; it is a celebration of cultural harmony and collaborative innovation, according to industry insiders.
