If you are looking for good quality food at the best rates, then Kongbate is a great option for you. Their menu has a lot of traditional dishes starting from various vegetables to different fishes. It has a buffet, and the price per person is only 9900 KRW.

There is no restriction on how much you can eat, but it is best not to waste food. The items are constantly refilled, so you get to enjoy freshly cooked items in one of the best restaurants in Nampodong.

Asura Nampo Branch (남포동 아수라)

This restaurant is ideal for those who are tired of eating the usual Korean dishes and Korean barbeque. It is actually a chain and has one of its branches in Nampodong. The unique meat dishes are their specialty. You will get fresh meat rolls which are grilled in oil after wrapping the vegetables in meat.

Besides the delicious rolls, we highly recommend you try the meat pancake. The price of the pancake is 19,000 KRW, but it is worth every penny.

Daeseong Sashimi (대성횟집)

Daeseong Sashimi is one of the best restaurants in the Jagalchi market located in Nampodong. If you want to eat seafood, you should visit here first. There is a variety of seafood options available here, and the prices are decided depending on the weight. Specifically, the rates are fixed for small, medium, and large sizes, so there is no chance for you to get scammed here. King crabs and lobsters are very famous here, and you can definitely try them.

As far as seating is concerned, they have regular chairs as well as floor seating arrangements, so you can choose whatever you prefer.

Gongsundae (공순대)

Gongsundae is a very popular restaurant, and you might have to wait in line to enter. Sundae Hot Pot is the signature dish here, and the portion given can satisfy 2-3 people. The sundae (Korean blood sausage) is very delicious, while the soup is red but not overly spicy.

A Sundae Hot Pot (small) cost is 28,000 KRW, and we highly recommend you try it while at Gongsundae.

Misool Works (미술공방 남포본점)

Sashimi and grilled clams are very popular in Busan, so if you want to try them out, we suggest you visit Misool Works. This restaurant is very famous and is crowded most of the time, so it is best to visit it early and with time in hand.

The grilled scallop, tripe, and shrimp are a must-try. It costs around 38,000 KRW. It is slightly pricey, but the portions are huge, so you won’t be disappointed after ordering it. You can try out the other grilled options as well.
