Ewha Andong Jjimdak, located near one of the main shopping streets at Ewha Woman’s Shopping Street, is well-known for its Andong Jjimdak (also known as Braised Chicken Stew). Since the restaurant is in the basement, you would have to take the stairs down to get to it. With fake trees decked in the middle of the restaurant, the restaurant’s concept is also quite interesting. Their most popular dish is undoubtedly Andong Jjimdak. They serve a large platter and rice bowl with the main dish.

You can choose the level of spiciness of the sauce in the Ewha Andong Jjimdak, so it is especially popular with Edae college girls and foreign visitors.

Curry and gochujang jjimdak (red pepper paste) are some of the special menu items that you can order.

Mister Bossam

Bossam is a Korean dish that consists of boiled pork in a tasty brine that makes the meat tender and delicious. Make sure to stop by Mister Bossam when you are in the Ewha area, as they serve one of the best Bossams in Seoul. Bossam platters are available in plain, garlic (sweet) or spring onion (spicy) flavors.

There is an ALL-STAR platter (KRW 9000) in the restaurant that includes all three flavors. There is a self-service bar in the restaurant where you can help yourself to unlimited rice, soups, and even side dishes. This restaurant is affordable, delicious, and provides unlimited sides.

Bonjuk

Seoul’s traditional Korean street foods include desserts, barbecue, fried chicken, and a wide variety of other dishes. For a refreshing alternative, try Bonjuk’s delicious porridge meals. Get started on the right foot with Bonjuk’s healthy and delicious breakfast! Bonjuk offers over ten kinds of porridge, including abalone porridge, samgye porridge, and crab meat porridge. They have delicious regular pho with one of the best broths in Korea, and their traditional pho with beef is to die for. In addition to the pho, the spring rolls are also highly recommended since you can prepare them according to your personal preference while you are there. Moreover, the place offers free wi-fi, making it an excellent choice for tourists traveling without data.

Egg and Spoon Race

Brunch is the restaurant’s main focus, but it also offers a wide range of other dishes. The menu offers a variety of pizzas and pasta, all of which are heavily influenced by Korean cuisine, so don’t expect authentic Italian food here. Some Korean dishes are on the menu, although they have a western influence. Their bibimbap and pizzas are exceptionally famous because both are delicious. Even though it is a bit pricey compared to eating Korean food, it is still much less expensive than eating at other restaurants near Ewha Woman’s University.

Bulbab

Spice lovers will love this restaurant near Ewha University! The restaurant Bulbap, which means “fire rice,” is next to the Ewha Woman’s University.

A spicy squid dish, spicy chicken dish, or a spicy pork dish can be ordered for 6,000 won per person. It is also possible to customize the level of heat. The “average spicy flavor” level can cause a very spicy sensation in some people.

There’s nothing better than Bulbap’s spicy fried rice made with the leftover sauce from the main dish. Furthermore, Korean-style steamed egg casseroles (Gaeran Jjim) are served with spicy food made with hot sauce. Fresh rice, seaweed, and kimchi are usually served with this dish.

In combination with the spicy food, the steamed egg casserole creates a perfect balance that reduces spiciness in the mouth.

Studio Wup

The tiny cafe is located near the university’s main gate at the back of campus. One of their most famous dishes is their cheesecake, which is made like an actual piece of cheese. These are cute and yummy!

Cafe Pera

This cafe is located right outside the Ewha main gate and offers a stunning view of the campus. Cafe Pera is known for its strawberry tarts and cakes and its cute display of drinks. Even though the coffee here can be pretty costly, it is worth trying!

Suru Dessert Café

Opening in the late fall of 2019, Suru Dessert cafe is more of a shop than a cafe since there is very little indoor seating. It grew in popularity among visitors over some time, ensuring that it has remained in the country. It is not so easy to miss this very pink and bright shop in the maze of tiny alleys leading up to the Ewha Campus, as the neon colors are tough to ignore. Despite its small size, the inside is filled with vegan goodies. Many loaves of bread are available on the shelves – pumpkin, mugwort, and various kinds of cookies.

It is, however, what is in their fridge that you’ll find so fascinating and unique. They have vegan macaroons in there! There are also cakes, cupcakes, and vegan condiments such as homemade vegan mayo right next to those. Some desserts are not vegan, but they are identified, so you will not be confused. This is one of the excellent restaurants near Ewha Woman’s University for tourists. Take care not to walk right past it!
