Cafe Santorini (산토리니)

Santorini is a two-story traditional Italian restaurant with luxurious interiors located in Chuncheon. The first floor houses a cafe and bakery, with an extensive selection of cakes, ice cream coffees, and teas. Their signature drink is the house blend coffee.

The second floor is an Italian restaurant boasting an extensive wine collection with scenic views of Chuncheon City at night. The menu offers many options, such as steak and pasta courses, pizza, risotto, and salads.

The inside is also eye-catching, with a wall decorated with colorful cups, plants, and posters. The cafe offers a lovely ambiance and tasty food and drinks, perfect for ending the night. Desserts are also available!

Café Carpe

Carpe is a picturesque cafe located right in front of Uiam Lake in Chuncheon. Beanbag chairs and speakers on the lawn provide relaxed comfort while guests enjoy the view. The colorful chairs add to Carpe’s overall charm, making it an ideal spot for coffee, dessert, or just taking in the scenery.

The only caveat is that you have to order a drink per person at least to chill. You cannot simply sit and enjoy the cafe vibe.

It has a three story building where each floor has a dedicated theme. With ample indoor and outdoor seating, this venue is perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy some tunes. The massive parking lot can hold up to 80 cars, so you’ll never have to worry about finding a spot.

Urban Green Café (어반그린)

The Urban Green café is both aesthetically and conveniently pleasing. It is located in Gangwon Province near the Bukhan River, giving it a picturesque landscape. The interior of the café also hosts a simple yet comfortable atmosphere, with Plants placed throughout adding to the relaxing ambiance. This makes The Urban Green Café perfect for casual or romantic dates– or any date!

When it comes to some desserts and drinks, Urban Green is the café for you. They have cheesecake, croissants, Golden kiwi cake, and more – all of which are delicious! The Kiwi cake is especially noteworthy because it has the freshness of the Kiwi fruit and fresh cream, making it not too sweet.

The Urban Green café has a precarious staircase near the water that allows you to capture picturesque scenery with the sky and ocean. The stairs are daunting, but they’re worth exploring.

Sonata Cafe (소나타까페)

The Sonata café on Nami Island is the perfect place to enjoy unique seasonal specialties. The snowman-shaped hotteok (pancake filled with brown sugar) is a must-try in winter, while the shaved ice with hotteok is perfect for refreshment in summer. The café also offers a variety of other delicious snacks and beverages. Sonata café has something to suit everyone’s taste, from quick bites to leisurely meals.

Cafe Gamzabatt

The Gamza Latte and Gamza Bread at Gamzabatt are hugely popular with locals. So, what is gamza? It’s simply potatoes – everyone’s favorite tuber! Coffee and bread made from potatoes… intriguing, right?

The Potato Buns are simply amazing. They are made from 100% locally sourced potatoes and the buns are super soft, fluffy, and flavorful. You can even bring the taste of Cafe Gamzabatt home with the frozen buns that are available at Lotte Department Store in Seoul!
