Shinsegae Mall in Daegu is the ultimate paradise for foodies! There are more than 50 restaurants in the mall spread over the 1st, 8th, and 9th floors. There’s even a Food Market in the basement of the Shinsegae Mall where you can get some delicious and fresh produce.
Luang Street Food Court
There are food stalls throughout the mall but most of them are concentrated on the 8th Floor (Luang Street Food Court). In this food court, you can grab a high-quality scrumptious meal without breaking your wallet. Just as the name suggests, the whole floor gives a vibe of a dimly street of Hong Kong in the 1960s.
Check out Salvatore Cuomo, an Italian restaurant and Tokkijung, a Japanese fusion restaurant on this floor if you want to try something different.
As compared to other restaurants on 8th floor, the food court can be a bit pricey but the food is worth the money spent.
Shinsegae Mall 9th Floor – Zooraji Theme Park
You can take your kids to the outdoor Zooraji Theme Park where they can enjoy the facilities. As the name suggests, it’s a zoo-themed rooftop garden. The indoor facilities are also child-friendly. While the children are enjoying the theme park, you can get some fresh air and enjoy the city view from the top. It’s also a great photo spot.
It also offers food options but they are pricey as compared to other options in the mall.
Food Plaza
The Food Plaza in the basement of the Shinsegae Mall in Daegu offers wide variety of inexpensive foods. You can get foods like Amornio, Tartorte, and Avantgarde.
In the Food Plaza you can also buy local breads that come from Daegu.
