Dpirang is the newest night time attraction spot in Tongyeong, South Korea that turns into a magical theme park at night.

For Koreans, Tongyeong city is a symbol of patriotism. It is said to be haunted by the soul of  Admiral Yi Sun-Shin, and it is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Visitors come from all over the world to view this Tongyeong city rich in stunning natural surroundings, which is also known as “The Land of Sea.” It’s also the country’s most popular fishing and vacation destination. Previously, there was one thing missing from the city: a nocturnal tourist attraction. There were no crowds at night in Tongyeong because visitors only had activities and locations to attend during the day. As a result, Dpirang, the city’s own “beautiful night city,” was created.

DPIRANG Tongyeong

Dpirang is at Namangsan Sculpture Park, which changes into a fantastic theme park at night. Both adults and children will enjoy Dpirang – the Garden of Light.

According to legend, the murals of Dongpirang and Seopirang that have been erased come to life and hold a nighttime festival in Dpirang. This is an innovative digital technology theme park. The tale and history of Donpirang and Seopirang, which are Tongyeong’s main attractions, help tourists immerse themselves in Dpirang.

The digital park is only open at night, but you can see a beautiful sunset if you arrive early enough. You’ll see a gift shop directly behind you while you wait for your turn to enter Dpirang. You can purchase a number of different products that depict Tongyeong and Dpirang.

The journey officially begins once the sunsets. The trees began to glow, heightening everyone’s enthusiasm. Dpirang, which stands for Namangsan Digital Pirang, is shown on the entry board. This amazing nocturnal show cost $6 billion to build in Tongyeong.

The show’s focus is the artwork, which reinterprets works by well-known painters, including Jeon Hyeok-rim and Jagaejang Kim Jong-ryang. The lighting emphasizes Tongyeong’s qualities.

A visually pleasing film on Dpirang’s live wall welcomes visitors. Vibrant graphics accompany the music. This piece makes use of the three strings of the Namhaean Byeolsingut ensemble. The fusion of classical music and contemporary art will take your breath away.

Different Trails

After eventually accessing the map, you will be able to hear, feel, see, and experience numerous different attractions. The Orchestra of Life, The Echo Village, The Mysterious Waterfall, The Light Net, The Old Camellia, and The Sparkling ForestThe Secret Workshop, The Sea of Pictures are all included in the collection. There is so much to do in this park that you could easily lose track of time for hours.

Pirang, the guardian deity who has kept this location secure for so many years, will come out to greet you as you enter. In keeping with the park’s theme, the deity also poses questions such as where the vanished murals went, eliciting curiosity.

The Sparkling Forest

Plants that release light and dazzling fruit trees can be found in the glistening forest.

The Old Camellia

Bring the light ball you received at the entry closer to the ancient camellia as you approach. On this tree, you may see the story unfold.

The Light Net

One of the nicest sites in the park is the light net; delicate netting on the trees creates a lovely atmosphere.

The Mysterious Waterfall

Another fantastic location is Mystery Falls. The sound of a waterfall and soothing music greets you as soon as you enter this room. The space is lavishly furnished, with lights adding to the atmosphere.

The Sea of Pictures

A panoramic view of Dpirang can be seen using a telescope at a location in Dpirang. But it’s not simply a glimpse of the city; seeing through the telescope reveals a whole new world. It’s a fantastic attraction for kids, but it’s also awe-inspiring for adults.

The Secret Workshop

The secret workshop interprets the work of well-known Tongyeong artists using projection mapping. It’s difficult to leave this location because the paintings are always changing.

The Echo Village

It’s cool to hear the audience’s voice and the well-lit trees after entering the echo village after the secret workshop.

The Orchestra of Life

When you touch the crystal ball you were given as you entered Dpirang, it turns into a mural and a wonderful festival. Because the park is so lovely, all of the visitors take a lot of pictures. Little fairies say their goodbyes as you leave the premises.

In Tongyeong, Dpirang is the newest and most popular nighttime attraction. Even though it is still young, the place has already been a hit. Over 10,000 people visited the museum in the first 15 days after it opened. It’s too early to declare it a mega-hit tourist destination, but it has a lot of promise. You should go to Tongyeong soon to see this great and unique theme park.
