Namhae-gun is set to transform into a vibrant floral paradise with the ‘Flowering Namhae’ festival, happening on March 28–29, 2025. Themed ‘My Hometown,’ this festival is part of the ‘2025 Year of Hometown Love Visits’ campaign, designed to celebrate local heritage and community spirit. Held at Chungnyeolsa Square and Namhae Pavilion, this spring event offers breathtaking views, cultural performances, and immersive activities that make it a must-visit for travelers seeking an unforgettable seasonal experience.
Exciting Performances & Spectacular Shows
The festival kicks off on March 28 at 3 p.m., featuring dynamic performances from the Namhae Orak Center, Batu Kata, and acoustic guitar artists. As the sun sets, the official opening ceremony at 7:30 p.m. will bring high-energy acts such as Samdong Nanta’s percussive show, a fusion Korean music performance by Hwang In-a. There will be a special appearance by Namhae’s ambassador, Ha Dong-geun.
However, the highlight of the night will be the enhanced fireworks and drone light show, illuminating Namhae Bridge with a dazzling blend of lights, music, and pyrotechnics.
To ensure the best experience, Namhae Bridge will be fully closed from 11 am to 10 pm on March 28. A designated drone landing pad will also be set up near Namhae Pavilion, and visitors are advised to follow safety guidelines.
On March 29, from 11 am to 5 pm, the festivities continue with a lineup of interactive and cultural performances.
Visitors can enjoy:

- A tightrope act from ‘The King and the Clown’ cast
- Live music featuring indie bands and acoustic artists
Additionally, festivalgoers can join the ‘Healthy Hometown Road 2025 Namparang-gil Walk Together!’ event at 1 pm. Completing this scenic walk earns participants an exclusive festival badge and scarf—a perfect keepsake from the festival.

For the first time ever, thrill-seekers can participate in the Namhae Bridge Climbing Experience! This exciting opportunity allows visitors to traverse the 40-meter-high cableway of Korea’s first suspension bridge, all while secured with personal safety gear.
