Welli Hilli

Welli Hilli Park, located near Hoengseong on the Pyeongchang border, provides a one-stop destination for accommodation and various activities. Their rooms are nothing fancy and may appear old-fashioned, but the cleanliness and price are excellent for what they are.

The rooms also feature a kitchen, making this a great location for grilling your hanwoo, a Hoengseong specialty made of Korean beef.

The bathroom does not include toiletries like toothpaste, shampoo, or body wash, so make sure you bring your own or pick up a package at the convenience store on the basement level.

Lotte Resort Sokcho

The Lotte Resort Sokcho in the Korean drama Encounter is, in fact, the Lotte Resort Sokcho! The resort is just 4 kilometers distant from the city center, and there are more than 392 rooms where you can see Korea’s stunning east coast. Waking up to see the blue sky with white clouds through a clear glass window is breathtaking.
