Seoul Airport Transfer Options
Airport Train
The AREX Airport Railroad is your express route to Seoul’s vibrant city center. Offering both non-stop and all-stop services, AREX swiftly connects Incheon International Airport to popular neighborhoods like Hongdae, Myeongdong, Euljiro, and Jongno, basically the north side of Han river.
Express Service Train – Non stop train option
Duration: 43 minutes
Frequency: Every 25-40 minutes
Operating Hours: 04:00 – 22:00
Fare: Adults ₩17,200 and Children, Seniors ₩8,000 (as of August 2024)
“All Stop” Commuter Service Train – Stops at all 14 stations
Duration: 59 minutes
Frequency: Approximately every 10 minutes
Operating Hours: Between 04:00 – 22:00
You can purchase tickets of these trains through multilingual automated ticketing machines at the airport or the stations, depending on where your journey is starting. If you are carrying T-Money transport card, you don’t need to purchase a separate ticket.
Taxi
There are three types of taxis in Seoul (check detailed information about Seoul taxis here). You can opt for regular, deluxe and jumbo taxis, depending on your group. But, it is very likely that your driver will be fluent in Korean only – so it’s better to have your destination written in local dialect so that there is no confusion.
Duration: 60-70 minutes
Fare: ₩60,000 – ₩100,000 (depending on your choice of taxi and destination, plus you have to pay the toll fees separately)
The base fare for Regular Taxis is ₩3,300. Deluxe and Jumbo taxis base fare is ₩6,500 and there is a 20% night surcharge.
In addition to the local taxis, Incheon Airport and Seoul also has option of choosing from a fleet of international taxis. Drivers of these cabs are fluent in foreign languages like English, Japanese, and Chinese.
KAL Airport Limousine Bus
Airport ‘Limousine’ buses are another alternative to choosing public transport for your Seoul airport transfers. Equipped with comfortable leather seats, these buses offer convenient transportation to popular destinations like Gangnam and Seoul Station. Choose from seven different routes for a comfortable and efficient journey to your destination in the city.

Frequency: Route dependent – usually every 20-30 minutes

Fare: If you pre-book, you can get discounted fares, but usually Adults ₩18,000 and Children ₩12,000
