Jiyugaoka 8丁目 (or Jiyugaoka Hatchome) is a Korean cafe famous for its most delicious desserts. It is located among the peaceful alleys of Bukchon Hanok Village. So, you can enjoy the delicious treats and relieve your stress at the same time in Jiyugaoka.

The cakes are handmade at the cafe and the serving size is just perfect. Unlike many Western cafes, the portions are excellent. You don’t feel cheated with tiny slices of mouthwateringly yum cakes! All the desserts in the cafe are made with the best quality ingredients.

The cafe comes from taking inspiration from Jiyogaoka Street in Japan. It is famous for dessert cafes in Tokyo. In this street, there are high-end residential areas in harmony with shops. Jiyogaoka 8丁目 is a place where you can celebrate handmade cakes and desserts baked with care. Jiyugaoka Hatchome combines the Japanese dessert cafe street ‘Jiyugaoka’ and the number ‘8’ (hatchome), which symbolizes good luck. The complete name means ‘a place full of good fortune’. The cafe’s motto, “Handmade, Family, Warmth” reflects in the culture of the homemade cake specialty cafe that only serves food with healthy ingredients without using any preservatives.
