Tongkeun Galbi

Tongkeun Galbi is ideal if you’re craving Korean BBQ but prefer a more casual environment. It’s a great spot because you can order as much or as little food as you want, and they have a wide variety of dishes to choose from.

They serve large portions of grilled pork galbi, delightfully seasoned with a mildly sweet marinade. They also provide a lunch set menu. You eat the pork galbi until you’re almost full and then order the beef galbi or samgyupsal as a separate dish.

Ganggangsullae

If you’re seeking a delicious and affordable all-you-can-eat buffet in Hongdae, Ganggangsullae is the place to go. With both pork belly and chicken options and various side dishes, you’re sure to be complete by the end of your meal. They also have a salad bar as well as several different types of soup to choose from, so there is something for everyone at this buffet. The restaurant gets pretty smoky, though, so make sure to bring a plastic bag or something similar to protect any handbags or purses you might have brought along.

Pork University

Pork University is in Hapjeong, near Hongdae. Once you’ve tasted the meat here, its flavor will be unforgettable. The restaurant features buffet service, with unlimited lettuce and side dishes available. The samgyeopsal here is fantastic because it doesn’t use frozen pork and has a potent aroma due to its grilled over charcoal. It’s pretty easy to cook.

However, you may become wary of eating quickly because there are only a few meat choices. Tteokbokki is also limitless, but you can only pick one flavor, and the restaurant has a lot of smoke from the grills within.

MUSSO

MUSSO is an excellent choice for delicious Korean BBQ eat-all-you-can, particularly if you’re not in the mood for an outing. You can order their lunch sets from 11 AM-2:30 PM and dinner sets from 5:30 PM, closing at midnight! Their beef galbi comes in three different cuts: regular, thin slices of high-quality meat; the second cut, which is a bit thicker and juicier; and then the third cut, which is very thick. The quality of the meat is pretty decent. There are also two additional AYCE options: one for ₩ 23,800 that includes beef, shrimp, and yukhoe (steak tartare), and the other for ₩ 21,300 that provides for sauces, side dishes, and lettuces.

Ungteori Meats

Ungteori Meats in Seoul offers an all-you-can-eat sampyeopsal buffet. Ask a South Korean, and the first thing that comes to mind is likely sampyeopsal. The Ungteori meat menu consists primarily of sampyeopsal pork and pork neck. The pork at Ungteori Meats is truly unique compared to other restaurants. In addition to this dish, Ungteori Meats also serves soybean paste soup as a complementary side dish. Once you have finished the soup, you can keep refilling it on your own. The restaurant is an excellent place to go if you are moody for samgyeopsal.

Doma 도마 SEOUL

Considering the top spots for enjoying K-BBQ in Hongdae, Doma Korean BBQ is a popular option among tourists. Its location in Hongdae adds to the restaurant’s charm among the bustling streets, youthful patrons, and thriving art all around. If you are planning to visit this happening eatery, ensure you make a reservation.

You will feel transported into a different world as soon as you enter the restaurant, making it perfect for a casual night out with friends or family. A variety of dishes are available, including a multitude of ala carte choices. You can choose between raw or seasoned meat, so if you prefer, you can indulge in the meat’s natural flavors. Doma has got that classic Korean BBQ joint vibe, with the grill right in the center of the table and the staff bustling around with plates of meat.

We hope this post has given you some ideas about what to expect when you visit a K-BBQ buffet in Hongdae. Whether for lunch or dinner, we think these Korean bbq eat-all-you-can buffet restaurants are worth checking out if you’re looking for something different from the typical Korean restaurant in Hongdae.
