On February 14, one of the Korean giant gaming companies, Nexon, officially announced that the company would collaborate with Seoul’s prominent theme park, Lotte World.
This collaboration is a part of MapleStory’s 22nd anniversary festivity this year. Therefore, the company plans to celebrate the long-standing achievement and reputation of the game. They want to provide longtime gamers with a refreshing and familiar experience not just virtually but also in real life. But at the same time, the company also wants to attract new visitors, guiding them into the world of MapleStory.
According to the announcement, the company will open a giant MapleStory theme zone at Lotte World involving all the exciting characters and icons from the game’s IP. This new MapleStory theme zone and attractions will become available at Lotte World amusement park starting early next year with the name “Maple Island.”
