Michelin Gems in Seoul

Seoul has been a foodie paradise for adventurous gourmands. To add to their joy, Michelin Guide has added 22 new restaurants to its list, bringing the total to 177 amazing places to eat in Seoul. You can check the details about restaurants included in the guide here.

  • French restaurant Allen and Japanese restaurant Mitou in Seoul are now Two Michelin Star.
  • three new One Michelin Star venues – Vinho (contemporary), Haobin (Korean-Chinese cuisine),
  • Myomi lost one Michelin star
  • Mosu is South Korea’s only Three Michelin Star restaurant

Busan – A new entry in Michelin Guide

There’s more!

For the first time ever, Busan joins the Michelin magic party. This dynamic coastal city, famous for its fresh seafood and vibrant culture, boasts inclusion of 43 restaurants in the 2024 guide. The Michelin Green Star

Three restaurants in Seoul and one in Busan were awarded the Green Star for their commitment to sourcing local, seasonal ingredients and minimizing waste.

In addition, along with awarding different stars, Michelin Guide also recognized restaurants for providing delicious meals at reasonable prices. Now there are 72 Bib Gourmand restaurants in South Korea, with a recent addition of 15 in Busan and 6 in Seoul.
