The K-Pop Culture

One unnoticeable field that is growing faster than any other field in this 21st century is  K-pop, commonly known as Korean pop music, which covers areas such as dance-pop, pop ballads, techno, rock, hip-hop, and so on. K-pop is a standard term for popular music that originated in South Korea. This was termed as “gayo” previously which means pop music.

A notable example of K-pop culture includes the worldwide success of “Gangnam Style” which was followed by other K-pop boy groups such as BTS, and others.

K-pop has distinct values in many fields and it is not just limited to music. The admiration of K-pop lies in an extraordinary performance that complements the outstanding singing style, stage performance, and flashy and stunning dance movements. The songs and choreography of the groups for the attractive performance are not constructed in a day. They are dedicated to many years of systematic planning blended with training programs and vigorous practice during their training sessions.

2021 MOKKOJI KOREA: The K-Pop Event

The announcement came from the culture ministry stating that the “Hallyu” festival, which comprises Pentagon and Monsta X and featuring K-pop bands, will be conducted virtually.

The event is known as “Mokkoji Korea,” which is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and organized by the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange. The last day of the Russia part of the event was on September 12th. During this, the participants from both nations met online in the evening. They discussed their lifestyles, customs, and theatrical performances throughout the meet.
