After years of anticipation, Pinocchio e Da Vinci Italia Village has finally opened in Gapyeong, quickly becoming one of the area’s most popular tourist destinations. Not only is this place picturesque, but it’s also close to Petite France’s French Village! So if you want to spend a day in two villages instead of one, you can easily visit both. The structure creates an authentic Italia atmosphere that makes visitors feel at home.

Attractions at the Pinocchio and Da Vinci Italia village

The only Italian theme park in Korea that collaborates with the Collodi Foundation to make “The Adventures of Pinocchio” by Carlo Collodi a reality is Pinocchio and Da Vinci Italia Village. This is also a site where Leonardo da Vinci’s works are celebrated; he was a remarkable painter, inventor, engineer, scientist, sculptor, and architect.

The motto of this beautiful park is “Discover new dimensions of your child’s world.” This enormous theme park has more than 30,000 square meters of a developed area adjacent to Petite France. Even though Pinocchio and Da Vinci Italia Village debuted in 2021, it has quickly become popular and seen on JTBC programs!

When you get to Petite France, look for a sign informing you that the sale and ticketing area has been relocated to the vicinity of car park number 1. After heading towards car park number 1, there is a set of stairs leading up. These steps lead to the ticket office.

The Pinocchio and Da Vinci Italia Village is a collection of Tuscany-inspired buildings in Italy, recognized for its Renaissance art and architecture. Vintage galleries, an observatory, and stages are among the features! These are just some things we think you should see when you visit!

Giant Pinocchio Statue

This is a statue of Pinocchio, the main character from the Italia Village of Da Vinci. He’s an impressive 10.8 meters tall! You can also look out over Lake Cheongpyteobng from above when you visit here, and you may enjoy the lovely nature of Gapyeong. The tiny homes with tiled roofs immersed themselves in the exquisite environment of Gapyeong, which we will never forget!

Geppetto Alley

There are beautifully yellow and orange buildings in this alley named after Geppeto, the creator of Pinocchio. Pinocchio e Da Vinci Italia Village offers some of the best photo opportunities.

Pinocchio e Da Vinci Italia Village has several performances. Furthermore, there are several antique shops. As you enter this road, a map and timetable of shows in Pinocchio e Da Vinci Italia Village may be found. There are also several antique shops here. It’s like walking into an exhibition as you walk down this alley and turn into each room.

Negozio di Maschere

One of the most popular shops in Pinocchio e Da Vinci Italia Village is Negozio di Maschere. It is a mask shop where you can find all sorts of traditional Venetian masks. You might want to take some pictures with the masks on!

Antiquariato Milano

This is the perfect place to find antiques. You can browse and look at all the items, but please don’t touch anything!

Piazza Da Vinci

Geppetto Alley is located to the south. Continue walking south until you reach Piazza Da Vinci, a large square with an open frontage. There’s also a Pinocchio statue where you can pose with!

Piazza Da Vinci is a great place to take pictures, especially with the Geppetto Gift Shop and cute staircase on your left. Geppetto is also the only souvenir shop in the area, so it’s worth checking out!

Pinocchio’s Adventure Hall

Follow the pink directions on the road until you find the entrance to Pinocchio’s Adventure Hall. It is located on the third floor.

By visiting this site, you will be transported back to your childhood days as you admire the story of Pinocchio through statues, models, and paintings. You’ll love exploring the scenery while also enjoying the architecture of this building, designed with a seamless structure in mind.

Pinocchio Observatory

The Pinocchio Observatory is located on the 4th floor in the same building as Pinocchio’s adventure Hall. You can see overlooking the beautiful Cheongpyeong Lake with Petite France below.

Da Vinci Exhibition Hall

At Piazza Da Vinci, follow the blue arrow down to the B1 and B2 floors, and you’ll arrive at the Da Vinci Gallery. A replica of a Da Vincian painting is on display here, along with one of his most famous airplane models. You may sense this great man’s artistic creativity.

Outdoor Amphitheater

This is Pinocchio and Da Vinci’s Italia Village’s magnificent open-air theater. The Terrace of the Wind may be seen above the corridor on the second floor.
