If you’re not staying near Seoul Station, Hongik University Station, or Gongdeok Station, the airport limousine bus is probably the best way to get from Incheon International Airport to your accommodation.
Popular airport bus routes
Among the 22 odd routes, some are more popular than others for the airport bus.
- Bus # 6001 or 6015 – To Myeongdong
- Bus # 6001 or 6702 – To Seoul station
- Bus # 6002 – To Hongdae
- Bus # 6701 – To city hall
- Bus # 6702 – To Dongdaemun or Namsan
- Bus # 6703 – To Gangnam or COEX
The bus station is at the Incheon airport terminal 1 on 1F or terminal 2 at B1. Make sure to check for the routes and starting bay from the screens in the airport bus station.
Luggage storage in the bus
The bus has some big storage spaces underneath. Some drivers will be happy to help you with your bags, while others will leave you to it. If you’re taking the bus to the airport, don’t worry about your bags. There’ll be friendly luggage staff who’ll happily take them off for you.
If the luggage compartment under the bus is full or your bags aren’t too big, there’s a small luggage rack at the front of the bus. It’s big enough for backpacks and small cases, but not big cases.
Seoul airport limousine bus fares (2025)
A one-way bus from Incheon Airport costs 17,000 KRW for adults and 12,000 KRW for kids as of March 2025. These fares are for the Airport Limousine. For K-Airport Limousine, the fare for adults is 18,000 KRW for adults but for kids it’s the same.
You can purchase the tickets for the bus with a T-Money card, cash, or most credit and debit cards.
It’s best to get a T-money card beforehand or at the airport so you can have easy payment options for anywhere in Korea. T-money card is basically a pre-paid cash card that you can use at convenience stores or in public transport.
Or, you can use bus station ticket machine to buy the limousine bus ticket at the terminal 1 or 2. It accepts cash and cards.
Bus operating hours
The bus operation hours are dependent on the bus route mostly. Usually, the first airport limousine bus departs Incheon Airport around 5:20 am and runs until about 10:55 pm.
The trip from the airport usually takes between 50 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on how much traffic there is and where you’re getting dropped off.
The other way round, that is from downtown Seoul to Incheon airport, the service starts around about 4:00 am and runs up until 8:00 pm.
There are some night bus options as well which operate past midnight to up until around 4:40 am (from airport to downtown).
