Mayor Oh Se-hoon aims to elevate Seoul to fifth place through this initiative, aligning with the city’s ambition to draw global attention and investment. Drawing inspiration from iconic tourist destinations like Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney World Resort, this attraction will debut in June, promising an enchanting experience for both locals and visitors to enjoy.

Named “Seoul’s Moon,” the city’s new upcoming attraction features a tethered helium balloon ride designed by the renowned French company Aerophile. Serving as an iconic testament to innovation, the tethered balloon provides locals and tourists alike with an opportunity to admire the city’s magnificence in all its splendor from a unique vantage point. In addition, this effort reflects Seoul’s commitment to attracting international talent and investment to enhance its global standing.
