South Korea is known to house a varied array of cafes. Tourism in South Korea is highly influenced by the cafe culture there. Korean dramas, which have gained immense popularity in recent times globally, led to the introduction of new cafe culture – the Stairway to Heaven cafes – by portraying one such dreamy infinite stairway in a popular Korean drama. There are several Stairway to Heaven cafes in South Korea with a stairway that seems unending alongside their cafes. These stairways drive in many tourists and social media influencers to capture their picturesque photos for their social media posts.

Café Cielo 957

Café Cielo 957 is one of the first cafes to build this attractive stairway. Located in Gojseong, this cafe boasts of owning one of the longest Stairway to Heaven cafes in South Korea and is devoid of the frame at the end of the stairs to give the tourists a real sense of infinity. It is surrounded by lush greenery and a lake which can be overlooked from the stairs. Along with having beautiful scenery to look at, the cafe has very minimalistic yet elegant interiors. After clicking their perfect picture, the tourists can relish the scrumptious cuisines of the cafe; pastries and coffee are their specialties.

Stairway to Heaven Cafes

Salon De Paldang

Located in Namyangju, Salon De Paldang is a luxurious cafe in South Korea. It is a three-story cafe that serves multiple cuisines and is known to serve some of the best pizzas in South Korea. This cafe stands beside the Han River, making the view from the café surreal. The third floor of the café has an open roof to enjoy the scenic views outside, while the other two floors are decorated with fine Scandinavian interiors to relax in. The area outside the café building also has a few bean bags and chairs for the tourists to unwind. The nightlife in the cafe is also alluring, with neon lights and pastel-painted interiors. The cafe is one of the most popular choices for date nights due to its attractive ambiance and delicious food, which they serve with the best wines.

Café 91 Coffee 

Cafe 91Coffee took the idea of Stairway to Heaven cafe to another level by adding a moon behind the Stairway. The moon is a huge white balloon with intricate paintings of craters. The crater marks and the color of the balloon resembles the moon so well that it can be mistaken for a real moon. To capture this mesmerizing picture, tourists flood this café at night. Cafe 91Coffee is known to serve the best coffees and cheesecakes, with their signature being a drink that is made up of mixing coffee and tea. The cafe has minimalist lighting with a woodsy interior giving it a modern look, and is a perfect location for date nights. The cafe also has a setup comprising of beach chairs and tables outside the cafe for the guests to relax in the daytime.

Orda and Bakery Café  

Orda and Bakery Cafe is located on the Jeju Island of South Korea. Being hardly surrounded by any other manmade structures, this cafe gives the vibe of a mini-resort. With a majestic ocean view compiled with clear blue skies, the cafe never fails to entice a nature lover. The cafe, in addition to having a Stairway to Heaven with an ocean view, also has a swimming pool for the tourists. The swimming pool is deep enough to capture underwater pictures, which the café offers to click without letting the tourists wet their clothes. The place serves mouth-watering drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, with coconut shake being their signature drink. So next time you are in Korea, visit this cafe for all the beach vibes.

Vils4339

Located in south Gyeongsangbuk, this cafe is a perfect delight for all the countryside enthusiasts. The cafe is surrounded by fields to give the tourists an experience close to nature. The Stairway to Heaven of this cafe has a unique design. It has a glass door at the end of the stairs to ensure the safety of the tourists. It also has a metal frame that lights up for you to capture those dreamy photographs. Vils4339 is one of the best family-friendly Stairway to Heaven cafes comprising a cozy interior, books, swimming pool, kids zone, and much more. Labyrinth

Labyrinth Cafe, located in Cheongju, is a five-storeyed cafe. The stairway to heaven of this cafe is located on the rooftop, giving access to one of the city’s best views. The cafe has an elegant interior with marbles and a gold finish. It also has a kids’ zone to keep the kids entertained while their parents relax, enjoying the best views. The rooftop is decorated with hanging chandeliers adding charm to the place. The cafe, along with serving coffee, is also known to serve the best cakes and juices.

Do Doo Café 

Located in Wonju city, Do Doo cafe is the best location to treat your eyes, brain and palate. The cafe has a Stairway to Heaven with white railings on both sides for you to climb the top comfortably. The interior of the cafe is minimalist, with a white tone throughout and sparse furniture. The cafe also provides outdoor seating for those wishing to enjoy nature. The specialty of this café is a rooftop tent arrangement that gives you the feeling of camping, devoid of the pain of setting it up.

Urban Green Roastery café in Chuncheon of Gangwon truly represents its name by decorating the interiors of the café with plants. The place is cozy with a view of lush greenery and a river. The Stairway to Heaven overlooks the river. The place is popular for serving the best coffees and desserts.
