Bukchon Hanok Village

It is one of the most picturesque places in the city and also one of the oldest parts of Seoul. The traditional houses, called Hanok, are very photogenic. You can explore the Korean architecture, which is a contrast between modern and traditional Seoul.

Jogyesa Temple

Jogyesa Temple is a colorful Buddhist temple located right in the city center of Seoul. The main temple building is painted in different colors and is referred to as Daeungjeon. The ground contains ancient trees that are 500 years old and some fun statues.

Gyeongbokgung Palace

It is no wonder that Seoul’s main palace is one of the most Instagram-worthy spots in Seoul. With the vibrant colors and beautiful gardens, there is no way that you’ll mess up a shot!

Myeongdong

Although Myeongdong is a fashionable shopper’s paradise, it is also a great place to take that perfect Instagram photo for your feed. The crowds, blinking lights, bright adverts, all makeup for the ideal composition in a picture. And, many unique stores in this market are some of the coolest Instagram spots on their own!

Gwangjang Market

The first and the oldest permanent market in Korea, Gwangjang Market is the best place to experience traditional Korean street food. It is very authentic in its architecture and really shows the Korean cultural heritage and charms.

Common Ground – Shopping Center & Hangout Spot

Seoul’s Common Ground ticks all the Instagram boxes: strong colors, food trucks, pop up stores, and shipping containers! It is South Korea’s first pop-up store built with 200 shipping containers. Located in the eastern part of Seoul, Common Ground is very photogenic with its striking blue containers.

Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP)

It is an architectural masterpiece that is not only excellent and atypical looking from the outside but also houses nifty shops and art galleries. The Seoul Fashion Week is also hosted at this plaza. Actually, DDP was crowned as the most Instagram tagged location in Korea in 2015.

Changdeokgung Palace

Another place in Seoul that is Instagram-worthy is Changdeokgung Palace. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is one of the most well-preserved royal palaces from the 15th century Joseon Dynasty.
