Along with the above tips, we’re giving you some useful guides on Gyeongbokgung Palace tours & tickets:

  • Tickets are available on-site for foreigners: foreigners can buy same-day tickets at the palace’s ticket booth. However, only 300 tickets are available daily, and you can only buy 2 tickets for each person. Don’t forget to bring your passport or Alien Registration Card (ARC).
  • FREE Entry: aside from those wearing hanbok, children under 6 years old and elderly over 65 years old will be able to join the night tours without tickets. But please bring your identity card to prove your age.

Things to Remember

  • Even if it rains, the palace stays open for night tours, so no worries!
  • Heads-up: strollers and wheelchairs aren’t available for rent.
  • Be careful while exploring at night—it’s pretty dark out there!
