Pet-Friendly Places in Busan

Shinho Park

Shinho Park is an unexpected home to tidal flats, which are very rare to find in Busan. It’s also popular for its pine forest and Galmaet Trails with its walking paths. Locals frequent this park for their daily breath of fresh air. You will also find basketball courts, football field, and other outdoor exercise equipment to entice locals into going in the park for a walk or exercise. Children will also find a water park within to beat the summer heat!

Your pet will surely like a walk around the park with lawns everywhere, making it one of the perfectly pet-friendly places in Busan. You will find people enjoying park golf during day time. You’ll also see people walking around with their dogs when the park is a little crowded. Seeing puppies running around in the park will surely melt your heart.

There’s a stage within the park where you will see musicians performing – and it’s free so you can enjoy the tunes amidst the gorgeous beauty of nature.

Although the park has dedicated walking paths, you can also explore the long trail along the outer periphery of the park. You can see the sea and the Gadeokdaegyo Bridge while you walk with your dog. And if the sun feels too sunny, you can opt for the shaded trees inside the park around the dedicated walking paths.

Artificial Migratory Bird Habitat Myeongpum Dulle Trails

This was originally a restricted area as it was a military base. But, because of its less use, the area is preserved as an internal wetland. The trail has been opened recently within the natural wetland, since July 2022.

Myeongpum Dulle Trails are of ideal length – neither too long nor too short. If you are out for a walk with your pet, you can enjoy a leisurely one with no worries. As it was a military operation area, the trail is enclosed within an iron gate, near Sodam Park. From there, it continues close to Sinhodaegyo Bridge. There is no exit gate here so you will have to go back the same way you came in.

The trail starts right next to the sea, offering a scenic stroll infused with the invigorating ocean air. Breathe in the fresh coastal breeze and feel your worries melt away. Forget about tired feet! The Myeongpum Dulle Trails are thoughtfully designed with comfortable flooring, making your walk a truly enjoyable experience. The wetland bordering the trail adds a touch of natural beauty, transporting you to a world away from the urban chaos. While the wetland isn’t currently accessible, it enhances the overall peaceful ambiance.

These trails seamlessly connect with the Galmaet Trails, offering further exploration opportunities. A charming forest trail runs alongside the main path, perfect for a leisurely walk with your canine companion.

Forest 3002

Looking to extend the fun after your walk on the Myeongpum Dulle Trails? Great news for pet owners – there’s a fantastic cafe nearby that welcomes furry companions with open arms!

As soon as you enter the cafe, you’ll be greeted by a sprawling outdoor yard. This dedicated space is perfect for letting your pet loose to run, play fetch, or socialize with other canine friends. This cafe might even offer various games or toys to keep your furry friend entertained. The Forest 3002 cafe provides a comfortable indoor space for you and your pet to relax and enjoy refreshments. This is ideal for seeking refuge from the summer heat or enjoying a cozy break during cooler months.
