Pocha or ‘pojang-macha’ is a street vendor that serves Korean comfort or market food in a small tented spot.
In “Why Her,” the pocha was first seen in episode 4 when Oh Soo-jae (Seo Hyun Jin) and Gong Chan (Hwang In Youp) come here independently. Later, both Soo-jae and Gong Chan become regulars at this place to have a drink.

One of the filming locations of the Kdrama “Why Her” is the M Building, where Hong Suk-pal’s (Lee Cheol Min) hostess bar is supposedly located. In episode 5, Choi Joo-wan (Ji Seung Hyun) comes to look for Hong Suk-pal to confront him about involving in Suk-pal’s business.

Gangnam 1984
In “Why Her,” Gangnam 1984 appears as a restaurant run by Gong Chan (Hwang In Youp) and gangsters-turned-chefs Ku Ku-gap (Jo Dal Hwan) and So Hyeong-chi (Lee Kyu Sung). The three of them also live here.
Gangnam 1984 is initially a cafe-restaurant-pub located in Toegye-dong, Chuncheon. It was previously an abandoned 3-story guesthouse/inn, “Gangnam Inn/Gangnam Yeogwan.”

Mapo Jinjja Wonjo Choidaepo
In episode 4 of “Why Her,” Choi Yoon-sang (Bae In Hyuk) has a drink in this restaurant with TK Law Firm’s chief secretary Ha Il-goo (Jeon Jin Ki). In episode 8, they are back here where Yoon-sang gets Il-goo drunk to steal his office keys to find evidence to get Oh Soo-jae (Seo Hyun Jin) out of prison.
Mapo Jinjja Wonjo Choedaepo is best known in short as Choidaepo. Cho Han-chae opened this restaurant in 1956. Choidaepo is famous in Gongdeok-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, as the first pork restaurant that introduced salt grilling in the neighborhood.

Parnas Tower
As one of Why Her” filming locations, Parnas Tower appears as Hansoo Group run by Han Seong-beom (Lee Geung Young).
Parnas Tower is a 39-story office building jointly owned by GS Retail and the Parnas Hotel Group. This “Why Her” filming location is apparently the 30th tallest tower building in Seoul, 185 meters tall.

Mimesis Art Museum
One of “Why Her” filming locations that you must visit is the Mimesis Art Museum. Oh Soo-jae (Seo Hyun-jin) visits Choi Ju-wan’s wife, Lim Seung-yeon (Kim Yoon-seo), at this gallery in episode 6 to discuss her lawsuit against her husband. Also, in this location, it’s revealed that Choi Jae-yi (Han Joo-hyun) is not truly her own child.
According to the official website, “Mimesis Art Museum, located in Paju Book City near Seoul, was built by OpenBooks between 2006 and 2009 and named after its art publishing branch, Mimesis.”

Busan Jagalchi Shindonga Fish Market
In episode 1, Gong Chan (Hwang In Youp) walks with a fish box at this fish market. Unfortunately, he accidentally drops the fish box on Oh Soo-jae (Seo Hyun-jin), who recently got demoted to work as an adjunct professor at a law school, and slaps him in the face not once but almost thrice.
Shindonga Market is a modern, large-scale, building-type aquatic products market with a site of 1,300 pyeong and a total floor area of about 6,000 pyeong. It was first opened on October 30, 1987, in Namhang, the largest fishing ground in Korea.

Oh Soo-jae (Seo Hyun-jin) asks Lim Seung-yeon (Kim Yoon-seo) to bring Choi Jae-yi’s (Han Joo-hyun) hair and meet her at this restaurant in episode 14. Jae-yi also comes and hangs out with her briefly.
