The Korean Tourism Organization (KTO) is opening a limited-time job vacancy for foreigners and English speakers who are willing to reside and work in South Korea. This job vacancy applies not only to those who have already lived in the country but also to those willing to fly across the globe to reside in this Kpop capital.

So, what is this job vacancy?

KTO is opening a limited-time job vacancy for their very own International Digital Marketing Team. The team is responsible for handling the operation of the VISITKOREA English platforms, including the website, social media, app, and more.

If accepted, your duty will revolve around translating and editing the platforms’ online content. You will also be assisting the promotion and marketing team, as well as performing other tasks for VISITKOREA and its related platforms.

Still, unfortunately, this job opportunity is only valid for a 1-year contract with a limited-time application period as of today. Therefore, you might need to prepare everything as soon as possible.

Salary and Requirements

KTO International Digital Marketing Team – Responsibilities:

  • Help manage and promote the English VISITKOREA platforms.
  • Create, translate, and edit content for the English VISITKOREA platforms.
  • Promote the English VISITKOREA platforms and handle customer inquiries.
  • Assist with various English-related and administrative tasks as needed by KTO.

Important Requirements:

  • You should be able to start working at the KTO Headquarters office from the contract date.
  • Someone living in South Korea who is fluent in both Korean and English.
  • Experience in Korean-English translation or interpretation is a must.
  • If you’re a non-Korean citizen, you need to have a legal working visa and a clean criminal record from your home country.

1-Year Contract Details:

  • Duration: October 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025 (1 Year)
  • Monthly Salary: 2,972,250 KRW (2,188 USD) (pre-tax)
  • Work Schedule: 9 AM to 6 PM (Mon – Fri), 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, including lunch break.
  • Work Location: KTO Headquarters in Wonju-si, Gangwon.
