A Nostalgic Gem with a Modern Twist

First off, let’s clear up a little misconception. Despite its name, Seoul Land isn’t technically in Seoul. It’s cozied up in Gwacheon, a charming area on the outskirts of Gyeonggi-do, practically kissing Seoul’s city limits. So, it’s the perfect spot for a spontaneous day trip. With a whopping 40 rides that cater to both the young and the young-at-heart, this park is a treasure trove of fun!

Things to Know Before You Go – Pro Tips for Your Seoul Land Adventure

Here are some insider tips to make your day even more fabulous:

  • Family-Friendly Fun: Seoul Land is an absolute paradise for families. Whether your kiddos are into gentle rides or you’re all about those heart-stopping roller coasters, there’s something for everyone.
  • Sun-Smart Essentials: You’re gonna be outdoors, soaking up all that fun (and sun). So, don’t forget your sunscreen, rock those sunglasses, and maybe even sport a trendy hat. Safety first, people!
  • Wheelchair-Friendly: Got mobility concerns? No worries! Parts of the park are wheelchair accessible, and you can even snag a wheelchair for free. Now, that’s what we call inclusive fun!
  • Footwear is Key: You’ll be doing a lot of walking. So, make sure you’re wearing your comfiest pair of walking shoes. Your feet will thank you later!
  • Lockers & Cash, Oh My!: Need a place to stash your stuff? Head over to the lockers located conveniently across from the Central Information Office. Oh, and there’s an ATM there, too, just in case you need some extra cash for those irresistible park souvenirs.

Your Ride Awaits: How to Get There 🚇

So, you’re sold on the idea and can’t wait to get there? Awesome! Let’s talk logistics. While you could hail a taxi or hop on a bus, the subway is your golden ticket. Just board the light blue Line 4 and make your grand exit at Seoul Grand Park Station.

Two Roads Diverged: Elephant Train or Foot? 🐘👟

You’ve got options once you’re out of the station!

By Elephant Train:
Stroll out of Exit 2 and head straight until you hit the Seoul Grand Park Lake. You’ll spot the General Information Center, where you can snag your Elephant Train tickets. Trust us, this adorable ride is worth the few extra WON.
Pricing: Adults (19+): 1,500 WON, Teens (13-18): 1,000 WON, Kids (3-12): 1,000 WON

By Foot:
If you’re in the mood for a mini-adventure, just take a left from the General Information Center and follow the path. A short walk later, you’ll find yourself standing at the gates of Seoul Land!
